Few words about Pelion.
Pelion is located between Athen and Thessaloniki in the middle of Greece. Pelion is a wonderful peninsula which combines at the same time the sea and the mountain. In Pelion there is a lot of changing natural scenes, such us the difference between the west coas and the east coast. The west coast of Pelion is more soft and more covered by olive trees. The beaches are easier and suitable for families with children. The east coast of Pelion is surrounded by different kind of trees and plants. The beaches in east coast of Pelion are more wild with bigger waves and colder water.
The location of Milina.
Almost at the end of the peninsula of Pelion at the west coast is located the small village of Milina. The charming landscape with its many olive trees stretches along the beach. In the village there are taverns, cafes, and shopping opportunities. Just accross Milina is located the small island of Alatas. With a boat it is easily to reach the island Alatas.
Beach:
In front of the house a sand-pebble beach (approximately 30 m). The pebble beach is suitable for families and the sea is mostly calmy without big waves. Of course, the surrounding area has many small coves and beaches with clear water.
Entertainment and shopping area:
Very close to the house along the promenade you will find nice taverns, cafes, restaurants, mini market, bakery, grocery stores etc. In Milina you will also find many biological products.
In Milina it is also possible to rent a boat.
